In celebration of Tibetan New Year, I created illustrations, tattoos, activity sheets, and puppets for child visitors, based on the Tibetan zodiac and elemental theme.
I was assigned to create an illustrate the Water Hare and Wood Dragon, based on previous years’ illustrations style, to expand the visual language for the first in-person Losar events since COVID-19.

Expanding The Visual Language
The Tibetan Zodiac uses a 12 year cycle of animals and 5 elements including metal, water, wood, fire, and earth. For my illustrations, I referenced past collateral. Previous illustrations use a watercolor texture and the text remains fixed on the right hand side in a vertical position.
