More About Me: How I became Miss Worldwide
Fun Fact: My name is French. Like Brigitte Bardot!
I come from a culturally mixed family. I was born in Queens and raised in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. I am Ecuadorian, Colombian, and Mexican. Growing up, we were the only Ecuadorian/Colombian family in a predominantly Caribbean neighborhood. I fell in love with with my next-door Dominican neighbors’ Bachata and Merengue music, and I would watch from the window as they speaker battled with my Guyanese neighbors’ Bollywood songs.
In college, I studied Graphic Design and Communications at Parsons School of Design, specializing in History and Branding. I moved to four different neighborhoods. Each of the neighborhoods was more different than the other. I found myself making playlists using songs I Shazam’d at restaurants or when I was waiting at my local trainstop. I found myself listening to music from multiple languages like Arabic, Greek, Urdu, Mandarin, Russian, etc. This inspired me to create colorful culturally-resonant videos to inspire others to engage with their local community. I also began to teach myself more Spanish as well learn the languages of my neighbors (I only know basic greetings and how to say ‘Thank You’ but it’s a start).
Currently, I am a Freelance Fashion Photographer and Social Media Strategist for various clients. I am taking on new projects everyday, and I would love to make new connections and share your story.

“I just watched your recap. It was SO FREAKING GOOD and beautiful, so much attention to detail. No one has ever reviewed one of our events that specifically, and I wanted to come on to here and tell you that was everything. It really means alot to us that you took the time to review our event, and we are very happy you had a great time and were able to see the attention to detail we did put into the event. We put alot of love and care and thought into everything we do, so we really, really, really LOVE that you did this review.”
