In December 2024, Puerto Rican reggaeton star Rauw Alejandro announced his 2025 US tour dates for his album Cosa Nuestra. On Instagram, he released images of the official “Dress Code” for the tour. Fans were suggested to dress in 1960s Evening Gowns, causing mixed reaction and confusion. His collages featured American celebrities including Cher and Sonny in sequins and sparkles. I adapted his mood board concept to highlight Puerto Rican and Cuban celebrities as well as Nuyorican salsa musicians. I featured Rita Moreno, clips from the 1961 adaptation of West Side Story, and highlights from the first NYC Puerto Rican Day Parade.
